The Lake County Beekeepers Association is an affiliate of the Illinois State Beekeepers Association. The Lake County Beekeepers meet on the first Thursday of the month at 7:00 p.m. Meetings are generally held at:

The Lake County Beekeepers Association will co-host the Illinois State Beekeepers Association Summer Meeting on June 29, 2013. The Meeting will be held at the Gurnee Holiday Inn Convention Center from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Our presenters include the highly respected beekeepers and authors Dr. Larry Connor, Dr. Dewey Caron and Phil Craft. Individuals interested in bees and/or beekeeping are invited to attend our meetings. The annual dues for the Lake County Beekeepers Association are $20.00 - $10.00 go to Lake County Beekeepers Association and $10.00 go to the Illinois State Beekeepers Association. The dues are for the calendar year from January 1 through December 31. Illinois State Beekeepers Association dues include a subscription to the ISBA Bulletin. Three beekeeping journals, American Bee Journal, Bee Culture and Speedy Bee are available to ISBA members at about a 25% discount.
